U.S. calls Myanmar election laws a mockery

WASHINGTON March 12, 2010 Myanmar’s military government has enacted new laws for elections due later this year. The United States feels it makes a "mockery" of democracy.

In the circumstances, the elections will be a joke, U.S. said on Wednesday. It also felt it would weaken U.S. efforts to improve ties with the country earlier known as Burma.

CHENNAI  Feb 26, 2010 Karun Chandhok is in the final stages of talks with Campos Meta Formula One team for a drive in the 2010 season, his manager said today.

    Spain’s Campos is  one of the  four new teams in an expanded F1 grid in the new season. It  has so far named only one driver, Brazilian Bruno Senna. Bruno is the nephew of late F1 world champion Ayrton Senna and Chandhok’s former GP2 team mate.
